I knew I loved San Sal the moment we first landed on the island and began to tour the place.  However when I came across Snow Bay I knew I had found one of the truly remarkably beautiful places in the world.  I had to have my home right there.  The shallow turquoise waters provide almost a gigantic private swimming pool.  The shallow waters and the cays provide a natural buffer from strong winds and bad weather .

We built our ocean side home strong and sturdy.  Poles anchor the house into the ground and the fiberglass roof provides no worry of damage from strong winds.  The strength of this home was put on display last year during Hurricane Joaquin.  While much of the Island was devastated and homes destroyed, our home was left with little more than some chipped paint off the walls.  You need a strong home to battle mother nature out there.  This is the one.

The house is set up very open and simple: a large living room/kitchen with two virtually identical bedrooms on either side (each with full baths).  The real gem of the house though is the deck, fully circling the house, that provides an outside feel while still being covered from the sun and rain.
